What did you do with this gorgeous day?
We visited the South Creek Greenway trail in Springfield. 
The trail winds it's way through a secluded and peaceful area next to a small creek. There are lots of opportunities to explore at the water's edge:
There is a golf course just upstream. The kids are plotting here how to fish some stray golf balls from the creek:
Of course the kids had to poke at the green slime:
