A Sneak Peek

I realize that those of you who see this post on my facebook page will consider these pictures a repeat, but I am posting these pics on my blog now for the benefit of grandparents who don't yet do the Facebook thing.

This week we have been busy taking Christmas pictures to get our cards and photo gifts ready for ordering. Here is a sneak peek...

Long Overdue

Please forgive me for not updating my blog in so long!
Our computer has been losing its mind (actually its memory!),
and will need to go to the computer hospital.
So now you must bear with me as I learn to use Mark's laptop...anyhow, enjoy the pics!

A Wonderful Baby Shower!

Jody and Jennifer hosted a wonderful baby shower for Baby Selah and myself.

Here is a group shot of all the ladies except for Tina, Vicki and Shirley, who escaped early.

The food was fantastic!

So many blessings for our new baby!!

Fun and games...
...and a beautiful cake!
It was a very special time, and I am so thankful for the time and effort Jennifer and Jody put into it, and for the house full of people who came to celebrate Selah!
Thank you so much everyone!!!

This and That

We have been pleasantly busy with lots of fun fall things.
We attempted to spend the afternoon at Silver Dollar City yesterday after church,
but the rain showed up shortly after we got there.
The kids did get in a few rides first:

Look what the Lord added to us this weekend...straight off the vision list:
We are under construction again!
Our school/computer/workout room is getting a new ceiling.
Goodbye ugly, outdated, scalloped beams:
(Rumor has it that the paneling on these walls will be the next to go)
Mark is adding eight can lights so we can actually see our schoolwork!!

Pics of this finished project coming soon, right honey?
(Maybe next week when the nightly church services are over!)

Today I caught the kids snuggled up on the couch reading Bible stories to each other. ***makes Mommy's heart happy***
