Christmas in August

This morning we celebrated our last week of summer

vacation by making a gingerbread house.
While we avoided the 100* temps outside,
we rocked out to Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" CD.

Lots of frosting, and lots of premature licking of the knives.

After the frosting stage was over, Marky announced, "I did the

construction and now Maya can decorate...can I play on the computer?"

Yep.

Maya, of course, took her time making sure every detail was perfect!
