Thanksgiving #2

We had Thanksgiving at Grammy and Pop's yesterday. The whole gang was there.
I think Bobby is still mad about being elfed: Everyone had fun just hanging out:The kids went walking in the woods: Here's Mom and Dad's Nativity. It is as much a part of my childhood Christmas memories as anything: The dogs felt left out: More "just hanging out":
Here's Douglas trying to block my camera shot(...way too slow, buddy!):
Bill's cool shirt:
*BONUS* Bill's cool shirt, the stitches in his head AND Beth and Lucas in the background(I'm a multi-tasker):
Here's Bobby crying over spilled milk. He's way too sensitive:
We had plenty of rough-housing:
We had plenty of good food:
We even had guitar lessons for the kids:
And did I mention rough-housing? I don't think Michael won that round. Here's Levi showing us a neat trick:

It was a really great day. I am thankful for my entire family!

Thanksgiving #1

We had Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's yesterday. There were lots of people, lots of food and lots of fun! The weather was beautiful. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for.

The men carving the turkeys:
This year they fried a couple of turkey breasts in the turkey fryer:
Everyone enjoying the feast:Then the kids played... the men rested... and the women planned their middle-of-the-night "black Friday" shopping insanity: Then we just hung out.... and primped....Look how handsome my hubby is: Not to mention our adorable kids:Here's a cute video of Marky:

All Done!

I am all done getting ready for Christmas!

All the gifts are bought.
All the gifts are wrapped except for one big present each for Maya and Mark...they will be unwrapped and set up under the tree Christmas morning.
The stocking-stuffers are hidden away waiting for Christmas morning.

All the decorations are up.
The Christmas cards are ready to pop in the mail.

I have non-stop Christmas music pumping through my home. Now I am just a little bit wistful...did I mention I really like wrapping presents and writing out Christmas cards? Oh, you DON'T? Bring 'em over...I'll wrap for you!
