Critters at the Nature Center

We hiked at the Nature Center at dusk a few nights ago, searching for critters.
The first critters the kids spotted were lightning bugs:

This is typically how we hike at the Nature Center,
Mark and I walk and the kids run ahead and back like wild animals:

There were dragonflies galore congregating on the bushes:

No, the moon is not a critter, but Marky spotted it.

Did you know my kids are the best of friends:

Found a turtle:

"Look Mommy, look, a deer!"

Sure enough they found a deer:
Cattails aren't critters, but we did find some.
(The kids used to call them corndogs)
